It might not make sense for us to work together.
“Wait a sec,” you might be thinking...
…”is this the lead generation expert telling a prospect to go away? That doesn’t sound very profitable to me.”
Oh, but it is!
(And it can be for you, too.)
Stop Settling for Less Than Ideal
One of the secrets of effective lead generation and landing great clients is attracting the right kind of leads to your business and repelling the ones that are harder (or impossible) for you to serve.
Lead Generation is as much a quality game as it is a quantity game.
With the right leads you can do your best work…
…with greater ease
…for ideal clients
…and make more money.
High standards in lead generation are even more critical if you have a small staff or you are (wo)manning most of the jobs in your company by yourself.
These high lead generation standards are how I run my business and how I create lead generation systems for my clients.
So take a few minutes to answer the 3 questions below to determine if we’re a good fit.
First, What Kind of Help Do You Need?
I am a strategist first, copywriter second. You can rely on me to double your leads, generate more sales, and raise your business profile in just 90 days without wasting money, time or effort. This is how I do it ⇓⇓⇓
If you find it…
- Hard to explain your product or service, or you need a lot of time to do it, then you need to Clarify Your Solution (step 1)
- Difficult to attract the right kinds of leads, then you haven’t Defined Your Ideal Customers (step 2)
- Time-consuming to nurture each lead to the sale, then you would benefit from Mapping Custom Journeys (step 3)
- Impossible to figure out how many people you need to reach to get the revenue you want, you could use help to Determine Audience Size (step 4)
- Confusing to know how much expertise to give away to gain business, then you need to know how to Attract Ideal Leads (step 5)
- Overwhelming to stay in touch with every single lead, then you need an automated system to Nurture Leads Into Customers (step 6)
- Problematic to gauge how your systems are working (or not) to grow your business, then you need to understand key metrics to Analyze Results (step 7)
- Bewildering to understand how to turn your analysis into better systems, then you need to know how to Segment and Refine (step 8)
- Intimidating or icky to broadcast your expertise, then you need a customer-focused process to Increase Industry Authority (step 9)
I can help you with any or all of the above.
We’re a good fit if you are a small business owner, project advocate at a medium-sized business, or high-performing coach or consultant ready to create a system of ongoing success in landing customers and industry attention.
We’re not a good fit if you are looking for a hired hand to jump in rework some text or perform other small jobs here or there. We’re also not a good fit if you sell something harmful or of dubious value because I’m here to use my powers for good.
Second, What Is Your Timeline?
The old saying goes something like this: “Good, fast, or cheap: Pick any two.”
I’m a slow-and-steady-wins-the-race type of gal who meets reasonable deadlines for well-thought-out projects which get results. For now, estimate 2-4 weeks before your project can begin.
(I’ll tell you when you book your job exactly when we’ll start and how long it will take, because I’m a deadline ninja.)
We’re a good fit if you know it takes planning and a reasonable timeframe to create a system that get the results you want. You’re willing to spend a little time up front as I research and create this lead generation process for you so you don’t have to spend time waiting for customers ever again.
We’re not a good fit if you’re looking for instant results or do not value market research and planning. And I’m definitely not a good fit if you’re in a rush, not for any price. (I don’t even check email on weekends.)
Last, What Is Your Budget?
This is where some people hold back, thinking it’s better to keep their budget a secret in order to get my best price.
However, here’s the not-so-secret secret: My price is my price, regardless of your budget.
When you tell me your budget, this means I can adjust the scope of the project to fit it so you get the best result for your money.
Knowing your budget helps me serve you better.
And I can’t do that if I don’t know your budget.
I work best with clients who are looking for results and are committed to a long-term strategy. This requires customer and market research, analysis, and planning in addition to writing and editing.
And I’ve learned over time that $2000 is the right starting point to make these efforts worthwhile for both of us.
We’re a good fit if you have a minimum budget of $2000 for a single project or a series of small projects spread out over 4-6 weeks.
We’re not a good fit if your budget is less than $2000 for a single project or a series of smaller projects spread out over 4-6 weeks.
You’re Done! Now you can decide if you want to take the next step.
If not, then you just saved a bunch of time and can continue your search for the perfect copywriter for your project. I wish you much success and hope our paths cross again.
However, if you’ve been nodding your head throughout this page thinking, “I’m ready to make some real progress on my business goals,” then let’s keep going.
Here’s what to do next.
I use Calendly, which is an app which makes it easy for you to pick a time on my calendar that suits you without all the back and forth emailing.
You’ll answer 3 easy questions while booking your appointment, and then you’ll get an invitation for our session.
Add this meeting to your calendar. You can do this manually or by clicking the easy “add to calendar” option in the invitation. It will automatically adjust for our different time zones. (I’m in Spain.)
At the date and time of our meeting, click the link in your invitation to join. We’ll talk about your project and the high-level solution I recommend. If you decide to move forward, I’ll send you a formal proposal. Then you make your final decision.
No pressure! I only want to work with people who are as excited about me as I am about them.
